These terms apply together with Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple EULA”). If they conflict, the Apple EULA governs your licence to the app; these terms add details about MakeBop’s content and purchases.
1. The app
MakeBop is a virtual makeup mirror for trying looks on your own face and photos. By downloading or using MakeBop you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. A preview, not advice
Makeup in MakeBop is a digital simulation. Colours, shades, textures and step-by-step looks are approximate and depend on your screen, lighting and camera; real products may look different on you. MakeBop does not give cosmetic, dermatological or medical advice. Check product ingredients and follow the manufacturer’s instructions before using any real cosmetic.
3. Free and paid content
- Some compacts and features are included with MakeBop. Others are sold in the app.
- One-time purchases. Individual compacts (for example Pearl Dream and Ivory Ribbon) are one-time, non-consumable purchases. Once bought, they stay available on devices signed in to the same Apple Account, including after reinstalling, by using Restore Purchases.
- MakeBop Premium is an auto-renewable yearly subscription. While active it unlocks every paid compact and the new compacts and premium looks we release. What Premium includes may grow over time; the content available is the content shown in the app at any given time.
- Prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency, and may include taxes as determined by Apple.
4. Subscription terms
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically every year at the then-current price unless it is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription in iOS Settings › your name › Subscriptions, or from MakeBop’s Settings › Manage Subscription. Cancelling stops future renewals; Premium stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
- When Premium ends, compacts you bought on their own remain yours. Compacts that were available only through Premium are locked again; if one was in use, MakeBop switches back to an included compact. Makeup you have already applied is not removed.
- If we ever change the price of Premium, Apple will notify you as required and you can choose whether to continue.
5. Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds directly. Where a refund is granted, the related content or subscription is removed.
6. Your licence and acceptable use
- We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use MakeBop and the content you have unlocked, for non-commercial purposes, as described in the Apple EULA.
- Do not copy, resell, reverse engineer or redistribute the app or its artwork, or use it to create content of another person without their consent.
- Photos you create are yours. You are responsible for how you share them.
7. Ownership
The app, its compact designs, tool artwork, looks, sounds and text are owned by MakeBop’s developer and protected by intellectual-property laws. Unlocking content gives you a licence to use it in the app, not ownership of the artwork.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep MakeBop running and improving, and we may add, change or retire features and content. We will not remove content you bought on its own from the app while the app remains available, except where required by law or by Apple. Some features need a compatible device (for example a TrueDepth camera for live face tracking).
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
MakeBop is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated here, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for MakeBop purchases in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer laws that cannot be waived.
10. Privacy
How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy. In short: camera images, face data and photos stay on your device.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use MakeBop after a change means you accept the updated terms.

MakeBop 是一款虚拟化妆镜，让你在自己的脸和照片上试妆。下载或使用 MakeBop 即表示你同意本条款。如果不同意，请不要使用本 App。
2. 仅为预览，不构成建议
MakeBop 中的妆容是数字模拟。颜色、色号、质地和分步妆容效果都是近似的，会受屏幕、光线和摄像头影响，真实产品上脸的效果可能不同。MakeBop 不提供美容、皮肤科或医疗建议。使用任何真实化妆品前，请查看成分并遵循厂商说明。
3. 免费与付费内容
- 部分粉盘和功能随 MakeBop 免费提供，其他内容在 App 内出售。
- 一次性购买。单款粉盘（例如珍珠之梦、象牙缎带）为一次性、非消耗型购买。购买后，在登录同一 Apple 账户的设备上一直可用；重新安装后可通过“恢复购买”找回。
- MakeBop 高级版为按年自动续订的订阅。订阅有效期间，可使用全部付费粉盘，以及我们之后推出的新粉盘和高级妆容。高级版包含的内容可能会逐步增加，具体以 App 内当时展示的内容为准。
- 价格会在购买前于 App 内以当地货币显示，可能包含由 Apple 确定的税费。
4. 订阅条款
- 确认购买时，费用将从你的 Apple 账户扣除。
- 订阅每年按当时价格自动续订，除非你在当前周期结束前至少 24 小时关闭自动续订。续订费用会在当前周期结束前 24 小时内扣除。
- 你可以在 iOS“设置 › 你的名字 › 订阅”中，或在 MakeBop 的“设置 › 管理订阅”中管理或取消订阅。取消后不再续订，高级版在已付费周期结束前仍然有效。
- 高级版结束后，单独购买的粉盘仍归你所有；仅通过高级版获得的粉盘会重新上锁，如果当时正在使用，MakeBop 会换回一款免费粉盘。已经画好的妆不会被清除。
- 如果我们调整高级版价格，Apple 会按规定通知你，由你决定是否继续订阅。
5. 退款
所有购买均由 Apple 处理。退款申请由 Apple 按其政策处理，请前往 reportaproblem.apple.com。我们无法直接退款。退款获批后，相关内容或订阅会被移除。
6. 使用许可与合理使用
- 我们按照 Apple EULA 授予你个人、不可转让、非独占的许可，可将 MakeBop 及你已解锁的内容用于非商业用途。
- 请勿复制、转售、逆向工程或再分发本 App 及其美术素材，也不要在未经他人同意的情况下用本 App 制作他人的内容。
- 你创作的照片归你所有，你需对分享方式负责。
7. 知识产权
本 App 及其粉盘设计、工具美术、妆容、音效和文字归 MakeBop 开发者所有，受知识产权法律保护。解锁内容意味着你获得在 App 内使用的许可，而非美术作品的所有权。
8. 服务与变更
我们会持续维护和改进 MakeBop，可能新增、调整或下线功能和内容。在本 App 仍在提供期间，除法律或 Apple 要求外，我们不会从 App 中移除你单独购买的内容。部分功能需要兼容设备（例如实时面部追踪需要原深感摄像头）。
9. 免责声明与责任限制
MakeBop 按“现状”和“现有”提供。在法律允许的最大范围内，我们不作本条款未明确说明的任何保证，也不对因使用本 App 产生的间接、附带或后果性损失负责。与本 App 相关的任何索赔，我们承担的总责任以你在索赔前十二个月内为 MakeBop 购买所支付的金额为限。本条款不限制你依照不可放弃的消费者保护法律享有的权利。
10. 隐私
我们如何处理数据，请见隐私政策。简单来说：相机画面、面部数据和照片都留在你的设备上。
11. 条款变更
我们可能会更新本条款，新版本会发布在本页面并注明新的生效日期。变更后继续使用 MakeBop，即表示你接受更新后的条款。
